Domain-Konsolidierung & technisches SEO
Two competing domains (schaaf-akademie.de and .com) merged into one authoritative main domain, with the technical SEO foundation restored.
Über das Projekt
The brand and backlink signals of Schaaf Akademie were split across two near-identical domains — Google had to guess which version was authoritative, and the content cannibalised itself. We designated schaaf-akademie.de as the binding main domain and consolidated the .com domain onto it with permanent, URL-for-URL 301 redirects (/pflegeberatung → /pflegeberatung, for example) instead of redirecting the homepage alone. On top of that: a consistent canonical strategy, exactly one XML sitemap, one consolidated Search Console property, and the removal of technical shop URLs (login, basket, checkout) from the index. In parallel we addressed the 502 errors found during the audit, the missing SSL certificates and the slow page loads, and reduced every host variant (http/https, www/non-www) to at most one redirect to the target version.
